Independent Consulting Limited has during 2009 been contracted by NLR to provide Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) expertise to EUROCONTROL Airport CDM team under Elisabeth Lagios management. On the 16th of November 2009, Independent Consulting representative Mr. Eugene Tuinstra received a letter of appreciation from FAA CDM lead Mark Libby for his contribution to the FAA CDM process. Eugene Tuinstra has been deeply involved in the milestone approach work by EUROCONTROL and is one of Europe's leading CDM experts.

Mr. Tuinstra´s work is not only appreciated in the United States but also in EUROCONTROL and today Independent Consulting and NLR agreed to extend Eugene's contract one year to cover 2010.
